About Abyrint
Abyrint delivers independent fiduciary assurance and sovereign advisory in fragile and non-permissive environments. We provide an evidence-grade operating picture of expenditure, controls, and delivery risk, and support clients with targeted decisions where continuity and context materially reduce uncertainty.
Abyrint has contributed independent monitoring, fiduciary assurance and institutional analysis to World Bank programmes in Somalia across successive programme periods.
Independent assessment and continuing assignments
An independent review of the Somalia Multi-Partner Fund in 2019 assessed Abyrint's monitoring function as effective and essential to delivery and risk mitigation, and found that the arrangement offered value for money in Somalia's operating context. World Bank reporting in 2021 records renewal of Abyrint's monitoring-agent contract and use of its strategic reviews in government and Bank strategy, portfolio management and implementation.

Contracting
Our work is delivered by contract, through international competitive procurement led by multilateral financing institutions. We also support larger bilateral agencies through their standard procurement frameworks.
Mandate flow
Many mandates begin as third-party assurance. In some cases, clients extend scope to time-bound advisory support, leveraging the same evidence base and operating context.
Independence
We do not allocate funding, recommend allocations, or act as a pass-through for public finance. We deliver contracted services and maintain independence through scoped mandates, documentation standards, and conflicts controls.
Sovereign Advisory
Abyrint is a specialized advisory practice dedicated to strengthening financial governance in fragile states. We provide rapid-response technical expertise to Central Banks, Ministries of Finance, Ministries of Defense, and Treasury departments.
Principal-Led Model
We operate a senior-expert model. Unlike traditional contractors, we deploy small, high-level teams to resolve systemic fiduciary failures. This allows for rapid deployment and immediate technical integration without learning curves.
