Edwin Kagwi is a specialist in Sovereign Audit and financial reporting. He serves as a Strategic Partner for Abyrint’s engagements in East Africa, leading technical teams on Central Bank financial statement reconstruction and Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) capacity building.

With a background in corporate audit for multinational firms, Edwin transitioned to the sovereign sector to address the unique challenges of public sector accountability in fragile states. His portfolio includes the development of the first International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliant financial statements for post-conflict Central Banks.
